These 6 tips will revolutionize the way you use wrinkle cream
The pressure to look good has never been greater. Swamped by digital media images portraying attractive young stars with beautiful bodies and clear smooth skin has made us feel compelled to keep up. And yet the stress of life has also never been greater. We now have less free time than we ever had. Our sleep patterns have shortened, we face more stress and greater competition in everything we do. Small wonder then that tired complexions and wrinkly exteriors have become commonplace.
Enter wrinkle creams, the cosmetic industry’s answer to the perpetual threat of old age and stress. It is a known fact that wrinkle formation in both men and women comes with age and are made worse environmental factors. But not all is lost. If you want to keep your skin wrinkle free – read on and assimilate the following tips to maximize your chances of looking younger
1. As well as a good wrinkle cream you should also use a steamer, toner and exfoliation to help fight off wrinkles. They help in removing the dead skin cells from the surface of the face and trigger blood circulation to the epidermis.
2. The wrinkle cream must be both safe and effective. Wholesome skin care cannot be achieved with chemical ingredients that are potentially harmful to the skin. There have been many breakthrough formulas that have gone into the making of wrinkle creams and the key is to be choosy. Before you buy check if your purchase contains the right ingredients, ideally extracted from herbal plants – vital for correcting skin tissues and keeping oil production at an optimum level. Read online reviews, check the ingredients, and be assertive in your purchasing habits.
3. The best time to apply anti aging skin cream is before going to sleep because after applying the cream you shouldn’t expose your skin to the outside world. The best effect will be achieved when you stay indoors to allow the ingredients to sink in.
4. For the ultimate purity you can make wrinkle cream at home with some readily available kitchen ingredients. Your homemade wrinkle cream can be as good as any other skincare product. Use simple and easily available staples such bananas, honey, coconut oil and avocado. Using oats in the mixture is ideal for lifting and firming the skin. The skin will be thoroughly nourished by these natural products.
5. Wrinkles appear more prominent around your eyes. Cool slices of cucumber are an age-old way of treating puffiness and wrinkles around the eyes. Damp teabags also work well for this sensitive area and can help to hide the wrinkles.
6. Emu oil is another natural ingredient that is also found in many of the anti wrinkle creams available in the market these days – and it is safe. It has been in use since very early civilization and nowadays a more refined variety is used in wrinkle creams.

What to Look For in the Best Anti-aging Creams
What to Look For in the Best Anti-aging Creams
With a growing and aging population there is more awareness of the best anti-aging creams, and what they can do for the skin. You can not watch TV, listen to the Radio, or drive by a billboard without seeing many fo the advancements being made in science with ant-aging skin cream, e.g., microscopic fibers, collagen, tea extracts, vitamins, minerals, and just about everything can be found in anti-aging skin cream. So what is it a person should really look for in an anti-aging cream?
For people who have neglected their skin for years they will probably have to take more serious steps to deal with their skin treatment. As many people have disregarded their skin care for many years, they will find that the most common upkeep anti-aging skin cream will not be capable of addressing the growing number of wrinkles or possible skin damage they have accrued through their life. You will have to simply be particular while looking to the best anti-aging skin cream, and you will have to spend a little more to reverse the damage to your skin. A few ointments are created specifically for regenerating the skin applying a more vibrant look and feeling, while others are made for specific portions of the body, like eye creams for addressing those wrinkles around the eyes and hand creams for wrinkles on the hand.
Each indvidual has different needs for their skins, eg., some need more vitamins while others lack collagen in their skin, for reducing elasticity. Finding out what you need is important when choosing the contents of a cream. Anyone concerned about their age, specifically the look of their skin, should find out exactly what it is they wish to treat. An anti-aging skin cream can have a huge range of uses and some treat specific skin problems, while others are made for more general use. If you have some serious wrinkles or a lingering skin condition you should check with a dermatologist for a professional opinion.
At the top of any list for the best anti-aging skin care is your cleansers and moisturizers. Keeping clean and healthy skin, along with eliminating the possibility of dry skin can do wonders for a person. Dry skin can lead to cracking, and frequent cracking can eventually lead to permanent skin damage; something everyone should wish to avoid.

5 Men’s Shaving Tips You’ve Never Heard Of
You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on shaving gear or going to a mens spa to get a crisp clean shave. Today, I’m going to share a few of my unorthodox men’s shaving tricks for a super-close shave. And don’t share this amazing information with too many people because it’ll become less effective for us all.
1. Exfoliate your skin.
“Exfoliate” scares men. I’ve found that a lot of men who care about their appearance and male grooming don’t know what it means. Exfoliate simply means to remove a dead layer of skin and expose a fresh new one. You’ll get a really enjoyable shave that’s razor sharp close with this tip. It’s awesome. You can make an exfoliating scrub that’s filled with natural ingredients very easily or pick up a product like Nivea Exfoliating Face Scrub For Men. Apply, wait for 1 minute, and wash off with warm/hot water. Exfoliating exposes and lifts up men’s thick and rigid hair follicies for straight up awesome men’s shaving.
2. Swim with the fishes.
Do you want a super-close shave that’s not irritating? Shave after a hot shower. The steam will unclog your pores. If you can’t shower before shaving, wet your face for 1 minute with hot water. But either way, be sure your skin is wet while shaving. You’ll have great looking skin that you’ll marvel over. You could even take men’s shaving to the top by shaving in the shower…Might be tough though with all the steam.
3. Make aqua your favorite color.
If you want a close shave like male models, this men’s shaving tip is for you. Did you know that the hair on your face is actually tougher than the edges of your razor blade? The key to neatly slicing every hair on your face, avoid bumps, and irritation is to have well-hydrated skin. Over your day, drink water in regular intervals. It’s really not about getting eight cups…This is a myth. Consume water regularly throughout the day for crazy men’s shaving results. You’ll notice a much closer shave and a better overall feeling and appearance.
4. Old-school is coming back in a flash.
Use an old-school shaving brush. I know if you use Gillette foam you’re gonna be skeptical. I get it. I totally understand what you’re feeling… I’ve been there. Switching over to a shaving brush was the best men’s shaving decision I ever made. The old-school brush exfoliates, lifts your hair follicies up for a closer shave, allows you to keep your skin wet without taking away the shaving cream and most importantly…Delivers an ultra-rich lather that’s going to protect your skin. This is my #1 men’s shaving secret that will give you an immediate omphf in your shave…And avoiding in-grown hairs will be almost automatic.
5. Excellent men’s shaving requires directions.
You have to be your own men’s shaving traffic police. It’s real easy – Shave down with the direction of hair growth. Don’t shave from your sideburns down and across like they do in Gillette commercials.
So there you have it… 5 unorthodox secrets for maximizing your men’s shaving routine and getting a super close shave…Everytime. Give them a go and if they don’t help you on your way to getting fantastic looking skin and ultra-close shaves, I’ll sew my fingers together so I can’t type any more of this “nonsense”.

Face Moisturizers Reviewed
Actually, moisturizers include products that stop the epidermis from being dehydrated which aids in increasing the life of the skin cells. The moisturizing products available in the market do much more than that. Whether the cream defends the skin against environmental damage depends on the substances such as humectants, fragrances and emollients used in it. Many skin care formulations profess to achieve all of the above.
The primary step to choosing the perfect moisturizer for your face is finding out what goes into the moisturizer. Once you know a few basics you can use that knowledge to what you know of your skin type and make an educated decision when you stumble into the sea of face moisturizers.
Emollients are substances that fill the areas between cells in the skin. Skin issues are caused due to the loss of lipids from the skin, emollients restore the lipids in the skin improving the skin texture. Oil and water based emollients are available but most of the moisturizers on the shelves today have water as the primary ingredient. Products with oil as the main product are long lasting but they give the skin an oily look. The usual emollients are lanolin, mineral oil and petrolatum.
Humectants behave like water magnets imbibing the moisture from the air and using it to replenish the skin. Softening thick or scaly skin is what humectants are most useful for. Some general humectants are glycerin, urea, and alpha hydroxy acids.
Fragrances are included to mask unpleasant odor of some of the other ingredients. Essential oils are also used to incorporate the benefits of aroma therapy. It is fragrances that are the main cause of most skin allergies experienced after using new creams.
Preservatives are another necessary ingredient used in moisturizers. Water and oil based substances are likely to get spoilt once the container has been opened due to bacterial contamination, preservatives are required to avoid this. Usually more than a single preservative is included. Some skin allergies or reactions can be caused by preservatives.
Apart from these essential ingredients vitamins, minerals, sun screens and a myriad of other elements may be included. Claims are made concerning many effects that have no scientific basis. Cosmetics are not expected to pass an identical effectiveness testing as food and drugs by the FDA.
Buy your moisturizer depending on your skin type, age and special skin conditions. When trying to find a moisturizer that suits your skin type and makes your skin soft, please understand that there is no association between effectiveness and price. You may use many brands before finding one you prefer so start with small quantities.
Skin can be categorized into 5 different types. Dry or oily spots are not seen on normal skin. For people with normal skin a light weight water based moisturizer is the best. Cetyl Alcohol or cyclomethicone are the general elements in these types of preparations. For dry skin an oil based cream to make skin hydrated is called for. Urea and Propylene glycol are the general ingredients in oil based products. Oily skin needs a water based product labeled “noncomedogenic.” This type will not block pores which would cause acne. Artificial Color and fragrance are not used in items used on sensitive skin. Older skin necessitates the use of oil-based petrolatum rich moisturizers that have lactic acid or alpha hydroxy acids.

Rejuvenate With These Anti-aging Exercises – Part 5
Part 5 of a series of fascinating articles by Derek Boughton about
How To Look Years Younger Naturally.
Â
In Part 1, we introduced the concept of Facial Isometrics. In Parts 2, 3 & 4 we worked on the specific exercises from your neck to your eyes â natural health and fitness for your face. Now weâll move up even further!
The following is based on Derekâs book âHow To Look Years Younger Naturallyâ available from the website YearsYoungerNaturally.com
Â
Â
9. eyelids
Â
I also exercise the eyelids. While it is not much of a problem for most people, for some there can be a certain build-up of bagginess there. Anyway, I do it for completeness. So, simply blink the eyes shut and open for your requisite number of times (20 â 50), ensuring that for some of them, you completely open your eyes wide before closing them again. Then repeat this looking as far down as possible then again looking as far up as possible. If you feel you need more work in this area then you can do the usual left, right, alternate, both routine.
Â
10. forehead
Â
There are many who have permanently furrowed brows. Like crowâs feet, this is usually due to permanently tensed muscles. As explained above, we will tense these muscles then relax them. As it happens, the first exercise also stretches the crows feet area upward somewhat, so it helps there also.
a)Â Â Â Â Â Use the muscles in your forehead to pull upwards then release. This should raise your eyebrows up and furrow your brow. Every so often, hold it up tight before releasing. When you have finished your requisite number of repetitions, close your eyes and relax for a short while then squeeze your eyes tight before opening. By the way, while furrowing up your forehead with this exercise, you could hold it there and do the under eye exercise as an alternative to exercise 8 a). Actually, I usually do both.
b)Â Â Â Â Â Now we pull the forehead down the other way, so that the eyebrows move downwards, like a frown then release. This will probably also pull the eyebrows inwards together. If you suffer from a tense puckering between the eyebrows then put the sides of your forefingers on the inner part of each eyebrow and gently pull outwards. Close your eyes, take a deep breath and relax. Repeat this several times.
c)Â Â Â Â Â Finally, alternately raise and lower the eyebrows. I usually finish with one long pull upwards and open my eyes as wide as possible then add a strong smile as well.
Â
Now if youâve been following the techniques in all five parts of these articles then this might seem like a lot of exercise time to squeeze into your busy day. But in fact, once youâve got the sequence, doing 10 reps takes about 5 seconds or so which means that the whole lot only takes about 6 minutes! Once you increase the repetitions, it will last longer but by then you will have seen the results starting to show and be keen to incorporate it into your normal daily routine. I actually do most of the exercises while driving to or from work so it takes no extra time at all! Just be careful â there are some of them you shouldnât do while actually driving but you can carry these out while stopped at traffic lights or when you get to your destination. Alternatively, you could do the exercises while undertaking the housework, watching TV, or wherever! I do this whole group of exercises once a day as many days a week as possible, so usually 4 â 5 times a week.
Â
As already mentioned, some ageing of the face is due to lack of muscle use and some is due to stress causing the muscles to tense up, usually creating lines and wrinkles, especially around the eyes and forehead. The exercises above will help both of these situations. The tension related issues can also be alleviated by a variety of stress relief activities and there is a later chapter on this in my book ‘How To Look Years Younger Naturally’. As I mentioned before, Botox injections are used to numb the poor muscles so that they cannot contract. Goodness knows what this does to the overall condition of the face muscles over time. Of course there are also several side-effects that can occur with such injections including headache, neck pain, bruising and nausea. Anyway, it must be much healthier and natural to relieve the tension with massage and other stress relief techniques.
Â
So thatâs the Facial Isometrics for you to use for the rest of your life â keep at it and see the incredible difference it will make. In fact, why not take a before photo of yourself right now and then another in a month or so and send to me at Derek@YearsYoungerNaturally.com.
Â
The rest of this chapter on âYour Faceâ contains some special but simple massages that are particularly good at rejuvenating your forehead and eyes, as well as information about pallor, neck issues, headaches, and the damage caused to your facial area by smoking. There is also some rather shocking news about the cosmetics industry that was reported in the press.
But of course, you can easily finish reading the chapter or the rest of the book by going to the website.
